This watch has quickly become one of my favourites for its sleek design and robust features not to mention the superb dial finishing! Unboxing the Citizen NJ0180-80X is a pleasantly simple experience. The packaging is straightforward, which I appreciate because it means Citizen has focused on what matters—the watch itself. As soon as you get your hands on it, the superb build quality is evident. The materials feel premium, and the fit and finish are top-notch. It’s clear that Citizen has put a lot of thought into making this watch feel substantial and well-made whilst focusing on the dial, which really is something to behold!

For everyday wear, though, I’m glad they offered this level of water resistance as it does offer some level of comfort in the watch’s capabilities should you be caught in the rain.

It may not be the most beautiful movement to look at, but its certainly proved reliable and will be easily serviceable when and should the need arise. At this price point, it’s hard to argue with the movement that Citizen chose for the NJ0180-80X.
